Bring in more birds
Start with one feeder. The fun really begins with more feeders and more hummingbirds!
Simple and Safe
Red Dye and plastic “flowers” are not needed to attract hummingbirds. They will find the nectar they need, and nothing more.
EasyClean Feeder Information
Setting up your Feeder
- Hang your feeder anywhere you can see and enjoy it. The best places are usually on your deck or in your garden.
- Two Nectar Jars are included. Place one with nectar in the hanger cup and keep the second ready to fill and replace.
- If hummingbirds regularly visit already, they will discover your new feeder quickly. If this is your first, keep fresh nectar in the hanger and they should show up in a few days. Keep watching, and refilling every few days.

Nectar
- To create your own nectar, Heat one cup of water and dissolve 1/4 cup of sugar. Let cool before use.
- Keep nectar in the refrigerator for up to four days.
- Replace the nectar jar every couple of days. Refill as often as your hummingbirds demand.
- Red dye is not needed. They will find it!

General Info
- The holes in the nectar jar caps are large enough for a hummingbird beak, but too small for those bothersome bees, ants, and aggressive yellowjackets!
- Fill the nectar jars to the shoulder. Try to reduce spillage when replacing jars. It’s sticky and attracts pests.
- Initially, you may need to gently adjust the copper wire to ensure the nectar cup remains level.

Ruby-throated Hummingbird
The Ruby-Throated Hummingbird is the most common hummingbird in Georgia, and the only one which nests here. They arrive in April from their wintering areas and leave by the end of October.
